Joe Black SG Hey people, I just bumped into these sites... have a look... Isn't this very similar to La Fayette? I wonder if the French have any parts in designing this new FFG for China? http://www.sinodefence.com/navy/surface/newffg.asp Can anyone convince me that the Chinese did not get any help from the French... I wonder what advantage the Taiwanese Kang Ding will have now if any. Next..... Chinese's attempts at a Aegis DDG copy? http://www.sinodefence.com/navy/surface/052c.asp What do you guys think?
|-|05| SG They Chinese have been trying out a radar system that is something like the Aegis system for sometime already…sometime around 1998 i think not too sure.
tankee1981 SG Nice pics! Yes they are remarkably similar but i am not sure able the dimensions though.
